A warm hello from India

Whilst Drift Away may not be opening anytime soon, i know many of you wanted to keep up with life out here in India and wanted me to blog, so i have begun!  It is in its tentative state, so please bear with me and as life calms down a little out here, hopefully i will have more time to add to it and make it an interesting read.  There is so much to write about, from monkeys breaking in to my home and stealing my bananas to sitting on my terrace watching the parrots fly over head, to trying my hand at Indian cooking, i'm still trying to master my chapatti's!  To all the fun with the children and how much they are enjoying this new style of teaching and how they are progressing to the frustrations of everything being difficult and sometimes juggling things between the UK and India.  You can find my blog here.

So with Christmas coming it means that Drift Away will also be closing down soon.....so if you want a treatment before it closes, you need to get in touch soon!

I still have plenty of spaces for Tues 13th, Wed 14th, some spaces Thurs 15th, Sun 18th am, Wed 21st plenty of spaces, Fri 23rd a couple of spaces.

I would like to thank you all so much for supporting my business over the years. It has been an amazing pleasure to work with you and to have shared so many moments of our lives together. Leaving my business behind and all the wonderful people i have worked with along the way was the hardest decision to make as i have been fortunate to work with so many lovely people over the last eight years, but the time has come.

Closing the business....

**Important news**

The sad day has come to announce that on 23^rd December Drift Away will be closing down. I have tried to email and text so many of you that have regular appointments with me to let you all know in advance, so apologies to anyone that i may have missed out (some may need to check their spam folders!).

After much soul searching and deep thought i have decided to follow my heart and what feels right by going back to India. I will be working for a local NGO working with the children and women out there supporting their growth and development. I will be out there indefinitely.

Do not fret though, i have put a list of other potential therapists together that you may be able to contact and hopefully you'll find a new wonderful massage therapist to work with. For all those whose email address i already have i will be sending this out in the next week or so, for anyone else please email me and i can add you to the list of people to email the directory to. There is still a bit of time to go though to have an appointment before i go and i will be working most of December including Sundays to try and fit as many people in as possible before i leave.

Gift vouchers.....

This is a little reminder to all that if you have had a gift voucher given to you this year and or one that has recently expired as there are very few left which are still in date, then please get in touch as these need to be used up very soon and will not be accepted after Christmas.

So equally, if you have given a gift voucher as a present to someone and they still haven't used it, perhaps give them a little nudge as they need to be used up as Christmas is the deadline....
